I am happy to commend to your attention my former student and present colleague, Ms. Cheryl Berman, as a tutor and teacher of Jewish prayer, liturgical music, and trope. Cheryl is a gifted teacher of traditional chanting, and has great experience in tutoring students of all ages and abilities, whether for bar/t mitzvah, Hebrew reading, or learning how to lead services.
